这首创作于1958年的歌据说写的是一女子林中游玩时邂逅一男，一见钟情，然而一场大雨让她失去表白自己机会。日后她难抑相思，重返故地，却始终不见男子身影。随后传来的南屏晚钟声使她如梦初醒，明白“相思有什么用”，最后她走出茂密森林终见到又一番新的美好天地。歌词曲都很美，不知有没有被翻成过其他语言，今天让我用英语试试吧：
