Do not forsake me oh my darling是由 Dimitri Tiomkin 作曲 Ned Washington 填詞 於 1952 年出版的流行歌曲 也是當年頗受爭議的電影 high noon的主題曲 其曲調在整部電影中反複播放 在電影中只用三種樂器 吉他 受風琴 和當年第一台電子合成器 創造出一種不尋常的葫蘆狀打擊樂背景 名稱是”Hammond Novachord”   歌曲原唱 是影星兼歌手 Tex Ritter並在這首歌獲得了 1952 年奧斯卡最佳原創歌曲獎的當晚在學院頒獎典禮上演唱了這首歌
High noon這部電影獲得多項奧斯卡獎 但是由於受到當時的政治氛圍影響 內定為主角的 John Wayne 以該片刻畫了英雄主義 傳達了政治訊息 並且背離了傳統的西方價值觀  劇情內容”非美國” 對主角表現出對美國法警和執法人員職業的不尊重 為由拒演 後改為 Garry Cooper 和 Grace Kelly 位男女主角  而編劇是被列入當年好萊塢黑名單的 Carl Foreman 因為其意識形態較為容共 附歌詞如下
