I was very excited getting this 2014 Harley Davidson Sporster 48 over the weekend. After going thru dozen of motorcycles, mainly sports bikes in the last 17 years, I did miss the feeling of riding on my last cruiser - 2003 Honda Shadow ACE 750. Despite of picking up the Ducati Panigale 1199R last summer, I thought it would still be the right time to acquire the first Harley that also matched my size. :p The HD 48 is very easy to handle for local rides; however, it does have lack of power on the freeway especially after 70mph. Anyway, I am still happy for what I have since the HD is not meant for speed but more a life style choice. I am looking forward to installing the solo springer seat next weekend and the Vance & Hines Short Shots in the very near future. The exhaust should enhance the legendary rumble sound of Harley. Hope all of you can share my joy. Enjoy the photos for now!
