it looks like the car had T-boned. However I would like to point out that what if the car doesn't break in half. what if it stayed in one piece and the whole thing got squeezed into a f**king sandwich. which car would you be rather sitting in? I don't mind for myself to fly 10 feet away and landed on the ground but I really don't want to be sandwiched like that. It is a horrible death. People have more chance to survive if the impacting energy converts into dynamic energy. Last thing you want is to stay put and have all that impact energy transferred onto your body.
