1963年出生在瑞典的斯德哥尔摩。1996年至1997年，我在法国美术老师克里斯蒂安·盖伊的指导下学习。自1988年以来，我经常参加展览，并与瑞典、挪威、丹麦、德国和摩纳哥的画廊合作。

I
was born in Stockholm, Sweden. I studied in France in 1996-1997 under
Beaux Arts teacher Christian Geai. Since 1988 I have regularly shown at
exhibitions and worked with galleries in Sweden, Norway, Denmark,
Germany and Monaco.

In 2001, I
began an international collaboration with Opera Gallery, which has
galleries in Paris, New York, Miami, London, Geneva, Singapore, Hong
Kong and Dubai. I have exhibited at several of the joint exhibitions at
Opera Gallery’s various galleries. I have since 2012 been represented in
London by Albemarle Gallery and have regularly exhibited at the
gallery´s exhibitions. 6park.com

I
have been represented in Sweden by Mollbrink’s Art Gallery since 2010,
and the gallery has held 7 solo exhibitions of works by me, both in the
gallery’s own premises in Uppsala and Kungshamn, and also on repeated
occasions at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm.

Art Gallery also represents me at international art fairs and leading
art fairs in Sweden, including the antiques fair in Älvsjö, and the
leading Nordic art and antiques fair, Grand Antiques, in Stockholm. My
work is also sold at high-quality art auctions both in Sweden and

For
me art is a thing of beauty, but even if the women I paint are very
beautiful, I cannot profess to putting beauty at the forefront. It is
all about capturing the soul, charisma and mysticism in a given moment
of a fleeting situation and being able to relate this emotion to others.

The constant seeking for my own mode of expression is what drives me most when I create. 6park.com

My art is greatly inspired by modern photo art. Expression-wise I am in the borderland between painting and photography.

In
my painting I aim to create a feeling of modern photo art, thus
combining the best of both worlds. The photo’s ability to capture the
soul and charisma of a fleeting moment; the painting with its surface,
finish and exclusive feel that the photo could never hope to reproduce. 6park.com

To achieve this I have adapted my techniques more towards photographic expression than painted art.

This allows me to erase the borders between the photographic and painted art modes of expression.

I
use a technically advanced and time-consuming layer by layer technique,
building up my painting in many thin layers with no traces of
brushwork. I use techniques like schumring and glaze painting, which
gives the impression of photo art but with a painted finish. The layer
by layer painting gives the colours depth and lustre.

My aim is to create contemporary, figurative painting that belongs in the here and now. 6park.com
