Here's Mama Liu's Cherry Pork (Ying Tau Rou) 樱桃肉 Recipe 6park.comIngredients - 1 chicken breast or 1 lb tenderloin pork - 1/2 cup cherry - 1 tsp scallion - 1 egg white - 1/4 tsp salt - 1 tbsp cooking wine - 4 tbsp cornstarch - 3 tbsp ketchup - 1or 3 tbsp sugar - 1 tbsp vinegar - 1/2 cup water or 1/2 cup cherry juice - 3 or 4 cup cooking oil 6park.comDirection - Cut chicken breast or pork into small cubes. - Marinate meat with 1/4 tsp salt /1 tbsp cooking wine mix well, rest 15 mins. - Wrap the meat with egg white and cornstarch. - Make sauce with 1/2 cup cherry juice (or 1/2 cup water ) / 3 tbsp ketchup / 1 tbsp sugar / 1 tbsp vinegar / 1/4 cup water / 1 tbsp cornstarch mix well. - Fry the meat in 3 or 4 cup oil wok at medium heat for about 3 minutes, last 1 minute at high heat, move out, ready for use. - Put sauce and meat in wok, stir at high heat, move out in a serving plate, ready to serve
