Mama Liu's recipe for Lotus Leaf Sticky Rice (Lo Mai Gai) 荷叶糯米排骨 6park.comIngredients - 1.5lb pork ribs - 1 lotus leaf - 1 cup glutinous rice - 1 tsp shredded ginger - 1 tbsp dark soy sauce - 1 tbsp light soy sauce - 1 tsp oyster sauce - 1/2 tsp white pepper - 1/2 tsp salt - 1 tsp sugar - 1 tbsp cooking wine - 1 tbsp sesame oil 6park.comDirections - Soak lotus leaf in water about 5 hour. - Soak glutinous rice in water about 2 hour - Marinate ribs with 1 tsp shredded ginger/1 tbsp dark soy sauce/1 tbsp light soy sauce/1 tsp oyster sauce/1/2 tsp white pepper/1/2 tsp salt /1 tsp sugar/1 tbsp cooking wine/1 tsp sesame oil/mixing them well. Leave aside for about 2 hrs. - Combine all things together in a lotus leaf. - Steam for about 50 minutes. Ready to serve.
