The 33-year-old uses vibrant dyes and clipping tools to sculpt 12-year-old Bijou's fur into whatever takes her fancy, claiming that the dog loves being pampered and preened until she looks like a completely different species.

每个设计花的时间也不同，有些可能需要整整一年的时间来准备和维护。
现在 Bijou 的造型是一只北极熊。
为了让 Bijou 看起来毛茸茸的，主人让它留了 11 个月的毛发。
"At the moment she looks like a polar bear, and this one requires lots of hairspray," Rachelle explained.
Rachelle 说 " 现在它的造型是一只北极熊。为了变成北极熊它要涂很多发胶。"
"To actually style it, the final part only takes about 30 minutes, but to grow her fur to look like a polar bear took 11 months."

Rachelle 说自己最复杂的设计是把Bijou 变成一只自带马鞍的小马。
"My most complex design was turning her into a horse - she had a saddle, and mane.

"It was such an intricate carving that in the end that it must have taken about eight hours to complete."

Rachelle 透露她的下一个计划是让 Bijou 变成一只羊。
"My plan is to make her a sheep next - the polar bear is hard to maintain, but with a sheep she can have a fluffy body, and then closely trimmed paws, dyed black like hooves."
" 接下来，我想把它设计成一只羊，因为北极熊的造型不能维持很久，但是如果是羊的造型，毛发会很蓬松，把爪子精心修剪一下，再染成黑色，像羊蹄子一样。"
因为夸张的造型，Rachelle 平常带着 Bijou 出门都会吸引一大帮围观群众。但是 Rachelle 的做法也引发了不少争议。
有网友认为她这样是在虐待动物。
@Ab, Cheshire: We as humans have a choice whether we dye our hair or what style we'd like, this poor dog doesn't have that choice. Plus who knows if those dyes are safe for its skin or digestion should the animal clean itself. Tut.
我们作为人类有权利选择染不染发，做什么造型。但是这可怜的狗狗根本没得选择。而且谁知道这些染剂会不会对皮肤和消化有影响呢？
