根据在美颇具影响力的亲以色列游说团体「美以公共事务委员会」昨天稍晚表示，两名参加年度会议者被验出新型冠状病毒呈阳性。出席会议者还有副总统彭斯、国务卿蓬佩奥等政要。
美以公共事务委员会（AIPAC）在寄给出席人士、与谈人及国会办公室的电子邮件中表示，这两名患者从纽约出发前往华盛顿，参加这场于3月1日到3日举行的会议。美以公共事务委员会在推特发文：「我们证实，至少两名来自纽约、出席政策会议的人经检测呈2019年冠状病毒疾病（COVID-19，俗称武汉肺炎）阳性。」
