1st squadron: "Adam & Eves" the first pursuit in history. 2nd squadron: "Panda Bears" the national animal of China " & 3rd squadron: all former USMC pilots, selected the name 'Hell's Angels'. The Walt Disney studio was commissioned to design an emblem for the AVG and the result was a tiger with wasp-like wings flying out from a “V” for victory. They were popularly known as the Flying Tigers because of their aircrafts' distinctive shark's mouth paint scheme.
