1. It’s a Maserati on a diet 
Maseratis are usually big, heavy and expensive. The Ghibli isn't (sort of). Aluminum on all four doors and the hood helps cut weight by 110 pounds over the Quattroporte. The Ghibli tips it at 4045.48 pounds, its 29mm shorter than the Quattroporte, 20 mm lower and a 17.3 cm shorter wheelbase compared to big brother. Plus the Ghibli is roughly $50,000-60,000 cheaper than the Quattro. 

2. It’s a Cheap Ferrari 
The Ghibli is built at Ferraris facility in Maranello side by side with the 458 Italias, Californias and the likeable others. Ferrari even chipped in developing the Ghiblis V6 plants and powertrain. 

3. Built in Wi-Fi 
For the modern day business crowd the Ghibli is its own Wi-Fi hotspot. Plug a SIM card into the Ghiblis WLAN router and up to three devices can be connected simultaneously.

4. It’ll do 50
50 mpg, almost; but that’s in the diesel. If you have the funds to finance a Ghibli you really shouldn’t be pinching pennies for gas anyways. If you are give your head a shake and buy a cheaper car. 

5. Fake Noise 
The diesel Ghibli has sound actuators in the exhaust to spice up the sound of an oil burner. Two 40 watt 6.5 inch speakers sit in the exhaust where the silencers used to be.

6. Destroyed to Serve you Better
The Ghibli underwent serious testing. Maserati drove a fleet of more than 90 cars over six million kilometres in soul destroying conditions in South Africa and Morocco, and Sweden and New Zealand. Maserati also tests every single component, set up a 700-point control check and each car is subjected to a 30 minute- 60 km road test before customers even lay their hands on it. The paint is even checked three times.

7. It’s a 4x4
The Ghibli has its own back in slippery conditions. It can push it into part-time four-wheel drive to ensure max grip when heaven pisses or you are a little too lead-footed heading home from the office.
