首先，以战役来说中国在白马山战役中投入的兵力和损失是输了。
但如果看战役格局仅仅局限在一场大约万人级别。有非常多老兵们的回忆录佐证（中国投入10000-13000 人，所以伤+亡超过6000 是可信的，但很多宣传说伤亡破10000 那简直是可笑的。）
而士兵们当年是积极请战的，唯独师级以上已经知道美国两个机械师开始集结，那中国将会面对最多15倍于自己的敌人，这是几位经历过当年的老兵原话。
